Cranham Scout Centre
Big skies. Real adventure.
A 30‑acre Cotswold valley site for Scouts, Guides, schools and youth groups — with bunkhouse, camping, and instructor‑led activities.
Welcome to Cranham
Home of Gloucestershire Scouts
We are proudly committed to providing exciting, life‑enriching experiences for Scouts, Guides and other young people — through our own programmes, and by welcoming and supporting the work of youth organisations, schools and educators.
Cranham also supports public sector and corporate volunteering, training and team building, welcomes backpackers on the Cotswold Way, and is available for community groups, family camps and special occasions.
Things to do at Cranham
Run by qualified instructors, on a wooded valley site built for hands‑on adventure.

Stay over
Bunkhouse, camping and a cosy day cabin
Our Main Building has bunk facilities for 32, a large hall with LCD projector, a dining room, catering kitchen and showers. Camping zones spread across our Main and Grove sites, each with their own toilet and shower block, plus a cooking shelter on the Main site. The Day Cabin is perfect for indoor meetings, training and events.
On site
Built for groups, set in the Cotswolds
30 acres of woods, paddock and hill — campfire circles, an altar fire, fridge and freezer facilities by arrangement, and the Cotswold Way trail running right past the gate. We don’t supply bedding or run catering, but we’ll happily put you in touch with local suppliers.

Project Future Adventure
We’re reimagining Cranham
